I designed this mandolin for people who have smaller hands. This has a shorter scale length of 13-3/32” vs. the standard 13-7/8" scale length, with a one inch nut width. This is the perfect option if you’re looking for a mandolin that would be easier to play without as much of a stretch on the left hand, or if you're just wanting to be able to increase your reach with ease. Also, with the shorter scale, there is a bit less tension with normal 11-40 string gauges, so you would get a good meaty sound with easier play-ability without having to resort to lighter strings for less tension or a very low action.

This includes... Highly Figured One-piece Maple back, sides and neck. Select Engelmann spruce top with traditional single traverse brace. Bound radiused ebony fingerboard. Tortoise pickguard. Ebony headstock overlay, Ebony trussrod cover, Flur-de-Lis inlay. Figured maple rosette and bound sound hole. Sunburst on top, back and sides. Triple bound ivoroid/black/ivoroid binding on body. Nickel plated James tailpiece and Rubner tuners. And hard case.
